- West Tower is a room in Phendrana Drifts in Metroid Prime. It is an elevator that travels vertically, with a door at both top and bottom. This room provides access to Control Tower. To activate the elevator's hologram in order to use it, Samus must scan a panel at the bottom.
- The West Tower, or Tower of Dust, was located in the Malazan Imperial palace in Unta. It could be reached via a side door of the throne room which opened on a narrow hallway with saddle-backed stairs at the end leading up to the tower. Until her death, the top floor, was occupied by Adjunct Lorn Afterwards, the tower was given up to the Mage cadre who established a warded portal to the Imperial Warren in its depths.
- The West Tower, also known as the Owlery Tower, is one of the towers of Hogwarts Castle, located thirteen windows to the left of Filius Flitwick's office, accessible from the fourth-floor corridor. At the top of the tower is the Owlery, a circular stone room which is cold and drafty due to the glassless windows. During the winter months, the tower is very cold, to the point that one has to be careful with ice on the higher landings. From one corridor, a tightly spiralling staircase leads up to a door leading out onto the battlements. It also overlooks a courtyard.
