The Mission to Lamaredd was carried out by Imperial Remnant forces for the Dark Order of Korr. Under orders from Jaden Korr, an advance scout party was sent by the Victory II-class Star Destroyer Firefox to the planet Lamaredd to scour the planet for anything that could be used as a military asset, and for a suitable location to construct a military base. The scout party consisted of an Escort carrier with a complement of reconnaissance fighters, two escorting corvettes, and a scout platoon for surface investigation. After several days of searching the planet for any useful assets, the scouts discovered a surprisingly abandoned mine containing large amounts of phrikite and tydirium, which are combined to produce a blaster-resistant material known as phrik. Realizing the obvious military applicability of these resources, Jaden Korr ordered the immediate construction of a mining facility to extract these resources as quickly as possible. Although the facility would supply the Dark Order with large quantities of phrik, it would eventually be lost in the Battle of Lamaredd.
