A Marauder, he specialized in combat, which he represented using the tiger, the ancient symbol of his family. Born in 13,006 BBY, Bestia was taken into the Jedi Order as a child and was assigned to a caretaker until he was seven years old, at which time the Conclave on Ossus resulted in a schism in the Order and the creation of the Ospion Guardians. Both Bestia and his caretaker fled with the Ospion into the Outer Rim Territories following the end of the Alsakan Crisis.

A Marauder, he specialized in combat, which he represented using the tiger, the ancient symbol of his family. Born in 13,006 BBY, Bestia was taken into the Jedi Order as a child and was assigned to a caretaker until he was seven years old, at which time the Conclave on Ossus resulted in a schism in the Order and the creation of the Ospion Guardians. Both Bestia and his caretaker fled with the Ospion into the Outer Rim Territories following the end of the Alsakan Crisis. During the Ospion Schism on Conscio, Bestia's caretaker followed the Ospion who wished to remain as guardians of peace, but Bestia came to realize his potential as a member of the newly renamed Dark Jedi of the Bogan and was spared when his caretaker was executed. When he came of age for proper training, Bestia was assigned to an Instructor who he felt was sympathetic to the old Ospion. His master wished for him to be an Instructor as well, but Bestia refused. Because of Bestia's desire to become a Marauder and his belief that his master was weak, Bestia murdered his master and became a Crusader. After training as a Marauder, Bestia became a Dark master.
