| - Standard green Leafies are completely passive mobs - When attacked or when starting to tame them, they will try to flee instead of fighting back. Unfortunately for them, they are very slow with their stubby legs, so this tactic is largely ineffective. They also are quickly out of breath, so they will also take breaks from running. Leafies can be found sitting on tree-leaves or strolling in the shades of trees of nearly any kind. As Pets, Leafies might like to eat Sandwiches or Turnip Sandwiches, some rarer specimen will content themselves simply with Horned Melons.

To Kill a Leafi, smack them 15 times with a Twig, 10 times with a Wood Sword, 7 times with a Stone Sword, 3 times with an Obsidian Sword, 2 times with an Iron Sword or Diamond Sword, or 1 time with a Lumite Sword. When killed, Leafies will often drop (in their Loot Bags) Leafi Leaves, Vines and/or Yellow Flowers. They might also drop Sinews (more often than other creatures), rarely also Leather plus sometimes additionally Globs of Goo and Bones, just like many other creatures do. As Pets, Leafies might like to eat Sandwiches or Turnip Sandwiches, some rarer specimen will content themselves simply with Horned Melons. Materials that you can harvest from Leafi-pets will be pretty much the same ones as their drops if you dismiss or kill them.
