| - Final Fantasy X is a game set in the magical world of Spira. You follow the story of a fabled blitsball player Tidus, and the summoner Yuna. In this game the overall plan is to defeat Sin, who is an evil entity whos porpose is to punish Spira. In this game you play as many characters, and as usual this game has a wonderful plot, that makes you want to play more. The gameplay in FFX is diffrent from some of the others. It is turn based, and while this may sound a bit strange, it suits the game, and makes the game what it is.

- Final Fantasy X wartet erstmals mit eingesprochenen Dialogen auf anstelle der scrollenden Textboxen aus früheren Teilen. Als Konsequenz kann man aber von den spielbaren Charakteren nur noch Tidus' Namen frei wählen, der dafür im ganzen Spiel kein einziges Mal ausgesprochen wird. Diese Namensgebung findet zu Beginn des Spiels statt, als Tidus einem Fan ein Autogramm gibt.

There was no world map to go wherever you wanted until you got to the endgame; areas are connected by linear paths that are really their own area.
