The Weathering Continent(風の大陸Kaze no Tairiku) is the title of a Japanese fantasy light novel series by author Sei Takekawa and illustrated by Mutsumi Inomata. Its first installment was published in Monthly Dragon Magazine in 1988, with the first collected novel released in October 1990. It has 28 volumes (the final one was released in April 2006), and there are also a number of gaiden novels. An anime feature film based on the novels was also released.
