Monster Collection is a new form of collecting introduced recently in MapleStory. The objective is to kill monsters and add them to your collection. The collection is organized into different sections, as well as various sub-sections, based on the area where the monster can be found.

abstract	Monster Collection is a new form of collecting introduced recently in MapleStory. The objective is to kill monsters and add them to your collection. The collection is organized into different sections, as well as various sub-sections, based on the area where the monster can be found. The way monster collecting works is that you keep killing monsters until it is added to your collection. Any iteration of this monster can count toward the collection as long as it has the exact same name. Note: lower level monsters have a higher chance of being added than higher level monsters. Note, certain monsters require an Elite monster version to be counted. When all monsters in one row are collected, you can obtain a box that contains various items such as Reward Points, Spell Traces, and Chaos Scroll of Goodness 50%.
