Calabro, Competiello and Saracino, were later rewarded for the rubout with induction as made men. Both Calabro and Competiello became government informants and confirmed the events of the murder. During the trial Saracino was implicated by his older turncoat brother Sebastian, who took the stand, as being a killer and being involved in multiple murders. Saracino shouted back at his brother: “Stop lying!” and “Don’t call me your brother no more!” On May 9, 2012 Gioeli and Saracino were acquitted of the murder of Ralph Dols. Despite being accused of killing 6 individuals between them, they were only found guilty of several racketeering charges. Saracino was convicted of conspiring to hit Michael Burnside, who was suspected of killing "Little Dino’s" brother. He was also convicted on several other charges, including extortion, witness tampering and obstruction of justice.
