  • Anne-Karine Strøm is a Norwegian singer that represented Norway three times in the 1970s, twice with the Bendik Singers and once on her own. She took part in the Norsk Melodi Grand Prix (the Norwegian national heats) between 1971 and 1976 inclusive without a break. Strøm finished last in the contest twice, in 1974 and 1976, making the only participant to finish last in more than one contest (completely opposite to Johnny Logan, who won twice for Ireland). In 1974, there were many notable names in the contest, so it was particularly a strong year, as four songs shared last place with just three points from the Juries. In 1976, Strøm's outfit and performance were likely to have cost some votes, with both being rather "odd" at the time.
