Starbursts, looking like little blue glowing stars, are clouds of flying death. Originally designed as a small transportable weapon, this magically laminated throwing star bursts into a cloud of similar stars upon contact with its target. Although not terribly devastating, it is the tiny size that makes it such an effective defense. Its small size also makes it a valuable backup missile weapon, for many can be carried together. Still, not really effective.

Some can be found at 21S 43W in Dungeon Shame, others at 46N 89E in a barrel at a house in the wilderness. More are found at 78N 59E in the Minoc Artist guild has one in a dead cat placed in a bag which is hidden in a barrel.
