Even so, the government's High Council had never managed to learn how to truly manage and convert the planet's resources into the wealth it needed. In 25 BBY, thanks to the mediation efforts of Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, who were sent by the Jedi High Council at the request of the Galactic Senate, Typha-Dor—under its "twin rulers" Binalu and Talus—established a ceasefire with its longtime rival Vanqor, a neighboring world that had attempted to invade and conquer it.
