abstract
| - N'Akkiarlian was the traditional language of the N'Akkiarla and the N'Akkiarlian Dragon, it was also spoken by the N'Akkalath, although they had their own language. It was an unusual language and virtually resistant to translation, however scholars managed to decipher some words after studying the language for many years. It is not known how old the language is but it's estimated the Ancient N'Akkiarlian form is at least 1,000,000 years old. As the N'Akkiarlian Dragons were the first to evolve sentience, and later, sapience, it was believed that it was their language and they taught it to the other N'Akkiarlian species. Before 1,000,000 BBY a pidgin form (by Ancient N'Akkiarlian standards) of the language was spoken, this pidgin form was the ancestor of "Ancient N'Akkiarlian" and was known as "Dragon-Talk", probably because the N'Akkiarlian Dragons were believed to be the first to speak it. When the N'Akkiarlians conquered the galaxy they forced their servants, like the Ingza people and the U'k'r'zedolgeiekoo, to learn their language, which is how N'Akkiarlian became the de facto language of the entire N'Akkiarl Galaxy. However some refused to speak the language so Ingzan and U'k'r'zedolgeiekoon didnt go extinct and after the N'Akkiarlians became more lenient on their servant races the native languages of their colonies became more widely-spoken than during the days when the N'Akkiarlians ruled their colonies and servants with a fist of iron.
