| - Damien Knights was a Human (Korun) male Jedi Master of legendary status who was the Master of the Order in the New Jedi Order. Damien served the Jedi Order during the waning years of the Galactic Republic. A talented Force user, Damien possesed a midi-chlorian count of 19,800 which was the second highest under Anakin Skywalker who had a count of 20,000+. Due to his immense power in the Force, Damien was recognized as the second strongest Jedi Knight of the era, with Skywalker being the first. Hailing from the world of Haruun Kal, Damien Knights is the Twenty-eighth Monarch of the Knights Family. He was a senior member of the New Jedi High Council and served as the Master of the Order. He is widely considered one of the greatest and most powerful Jedi Masters in galactic history. A descendant of the famed Knights Family who fought in numerous wars in the days of the Old Republic, Damien was always seen at the present continuing on their legacy, fighting against the dark side and all the while advancing Jedi knowledge. Damien is the grandson of the famed Jedi Master, Jūshirō Knights. In addition to his advanced control of the Force, Damien was a master of all seven form of lightsaber combat and was widely considered one of the best swordsmen in the Jedi Order. He mastered Vaapad, the modern seventh form of lightsaber combat. Mace Windu and Damien are the only practitioners of the form who did not fall to the dark side. It was Mace Windu and Damien Knights who led two hundred and twelve Jedi into combat at the Battle of Geonosis. He continued to serve the Republic throughout the Clone Wars, often on the front lines of fierce fighting, where he led Republic forces as a Senior Jedi General. He spent years commanding the 41st Elite Corps with Clone Commander CC-1004 (Gree), winning many battles that made him as legendary as he was. At the pinnacle of the war, he had earned a reputation that made him a constant target for the plans of General Grievous and Count Dooku alike. He would distinguish himself across many battlefronts, most notably Christophsis, Teth, Krant, Haruun Kal, Ryloth, Juma 9 and Behpour, Malastare, Quell, Maridum, Felucia, Onerdon, Null, Carlac, Brentaal IV, Iceberg III, Kamino, Umbara, The Rig, Foerost, Naboo, Alderaan, Cerea, Boz Pity, Saleucami, and Coruscant. In some point in the year of 21 BBY, Damien met and saved Jedi Knight Korrah Naberrie. He would marry her and have a child with her. Following the initiation of Order 66, Damien alongside Korrah Naberrie Knights, went into exile. Spending almost 20 years hidden, Damien joined the Alliance to Restore the Republic, where he helped several Rebellion fighters in restoring the Republic. Years later, Damien alongside Luke Skywalker helped create the New Jedi Order as one of the founders, and a year later, trained Kyle Katarn. Continuing to be part of the New Jedi Order, Damien joined the High Council while becoming a Jedi Battlemaster and Master of the Order. During this tenure, and following the years of the first Galactic Civil War, Damien would once again thrust onto the front lines as one of the few Generals of the New Jedi Order, during the Yuuzhan Vong War, an invasion by the extra-galactic Yuuzhan Vong species. During the galaxy-wide war, Damien encountered many family problems, such as his wife and son both were under the infection of a serious disease, as his son would be left in a coma for a year. Damien eventually reunited with his former apprentice Kyle Katarn, who went missing during the War on Coruscant. Damien eventually lost many of his Padawans, and other Jedi Knights who were his friends and had trained under him. During the final years of the Yuuzhan Vong War, Damien and Luke Skywalker ended the war after saving the Solo Twins 28 ABY. Following the years after the war, was involved in the Swarm War, to which he was only a part of in it's final stages. Still, peace was not yet achieved, to which he would then fight in the Second Galactic Civil War a few years later. Following towards the end of the war, Damien was part of a mission where he was able to lure Darth Caedus towards his sister, which led to the Sith Lord's death, with the apparent aid of Luke as well. Shortly after the end of the war, Damien and his family, as some of his apprentices met with a similar fate to that of Luke Skywalker. After his trial, Damien and his family were visited by Chief of State Natasi Daala, in which she ordered her men to arrest the Jedi family. Avoiding a trial, as even anti-Jedi sentiment grew, Damien noticed at how many people of Daala's government began to go against the Jedi. Damien discovered how much trust had already been erased, thus seemingly the Jedi were no longer trusted. Under strict orders, Damien, his family, and many of his apprentices were exiled and forbidden from involving with the affairs of the Jedi Order. In their exile, Damien often ventured to several parts of the galaxy, where he formed many Jedi initiations, and affiliating with the Order in secret, until it's collapse in 138 ABY. While scourging the universe, Damien encountered the Lost Tribe of the Sith, where he met Luke Skywalker once more. Due to their presence in the Force, the tribe saw them as a threat, and not hoping to endanger anyone else, the two split ways, but were stalked by the Sith, where to which, would form an alliance between the two, that led for the two sides to fight Abeloth a dark side entity. Shortly after allying himself with the tribe, Damien kept his guard at all times, knowing that one day they would turn on them. After having a short alliance, Damien and his allies then repelled the Sith threat, and with the help of Darh Krayt, defeated Abeloth, preventing another disaster that could endanger the galaxy. After having a short alliance, Damien left and traveled the galaxy, participating in new missions, alliances and wars, eventually making himself a home on the world of Ossus with his family, which was the native planet to Anakin Skywalker's Descendant, Kol Skywalker. During that time, Damien fought on a three decade long war to defend the planet from invaders, and did so. For the next six decades, Damien protected and served the New Jedi Order as Grand Master, while also fighting off new enemies. Unfortunately, they were drawn out during Darth Kryat's rule, forcing them to fight once more. Following the death of Darth Kryat at the hands of Cade Skywalker, Damien returned to Chandrila with his family, where he joined his wife and family. For the last years of his life, Damien fought in several battles for Chandrila. In 140 ABY, Damien passed away and became one with the Force, joining his wife, mother, and father. Following his death, the leadership of the Knights Family was passed on to his son Matthew Knights.
