Real World Trading (RWT) is when a player buys goods or services with real money to help further there gaming needs. For example, a player may buy someone's account and play on that or purchase items from another player. This is a prime example of RWT as well as if someone was to buy items or money for the game.

Both kinds of RWT are considered violations of the rules and are treated identically by Jagex if evidence is presented or found to suggest a RWT action has occurred or is being arranged.
