Satini was the daemon spirit of the legendary Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. He named her after Satine Kryze, his childhood friend and would-be lover. She was a donkey, a strange animal spirit for such a noble Jedi, but fitting because it represented his humility, patience, and his serenity later in life.

abstract	Satini was the daemon spirit of the legendary Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. He named her after Satine Kryze, his childhood friend and would-be lover. She was a donkey, a strange animal spirit for such a noble Jedi, but fitting because it represented his humility, patience, and his serenity later in life. Satini was a more capable fighter than she looked, as strong as a Wookiee's horse daemon in combat. Like Obi-Wan, however, she preferred peace and meditation to war and combat. She had no love for the Clone Wars, or the Galactic Civil War either, and was at her happiest during her and Obi-Wan's exile on Tatooine, where she could be herself. When Obi-Wan retained consciousness after Vader killed him, Satini always stood by his side when he gave counsel and influence to Luke Skywalker.
