The Siccative is a large desert that appears in Might and Magic: The Dreamwright and Might and Magic: The Shadowsmith. It was located east of The Wheel, and bordered the Aulmad and the Madescent. The old Effulgency, later known as the Blasted Lands, was located in the Siccative. According to Welleck, the region was rife with volcanoes, which made it easier to construct imperies like Tustable and Old Hopshog. Paddifraw's Repose was located in the eastern parts of the Siccative, near the border to the Madescent.

The old Effulgency, later known as the Blasted Lands, was located in the Siccative. According to Welleck, the region was rife with volcanoes, which made it easier to construct imperies like Tustable and Old Hopshog. The desert presented many dangers to travelers, particularly in those parts close to the Aulmad. Trammelers sometimes made their nests here, and dry pirates roamed the dunes, setting traps for careless travelers. Rockrasps and the dark commandery could also be encountered. Paddifraw's Repose was located in the eastern parts of the Siccative, near the border to the Madescent.
