"Died in Your Arms" is the second released single from Smitty's debut album, Life of a Troubled Child. Even though it is the second released single, it might be the first official single since "Diamonds on My Neck" was released nearly two years ago and could be scrapped. The original version of "Died in Your Arms" is produced by Scott Storch and features Robin Thicke singing the chorus which interpolates Cutting Crew's, "(I Just) Died in Your Arms".

A remix, but possibly an alternate for the original has surfaced, in which T-Pain takes over Robin Thicke's part while adding ad libs and other vocals. Also, an unofficial remix with Rick Ross, Junior Reid and T-Pain has been circulating the Internet. Both the unofficial remix and "T-Pain remix" are produced by Felli Fel unlike the original.
