| - Alaya is the female chieftain of the Twin Mothers tribe in 2253.
- Along with her human friend Sully, Alaya lost both of her parents as a child during the Eastern Campaigns, when the mixed ape/human settlement of Red Creek was attacked by exclusively human army of Delphi. Both children were rescued by the albino gorilla General Nix, and were adopted by the Lawgiver of Mak.
- Alaya et Restac étaient sœurs jumelles. Restac ne semblait pas s'intéresser à Alaya, du moins jusqu'à ce que celle-ci ne soit tuée par Ambrose Northover (DW: Cold Blood). Alaya vint à la surface et captura Elliot Northover, Amy Pond et Mo Northover qui furent rapportés sous terre comme otages. Le Onzième Docteur l’aspergea grâce à un extincteur au dioxyde de carbone et Rory Williams l'enferma à l'arrière d'un van.
- Alaya was twin sisters with Restac whom she shared her hatred of humans with, a Silurian warrior and an antagonist in the Doctor Who episodes The Hungry Earth and Cold Blood. She is played by Neve McIntosh who also played Restac and Madam Vastra, an ally of the Doctor. She was chained up in the crypt of the town's church where she rejected the Doctor's attempts for a truce between Humans and Silurians and after the Doctor left with geologist Nasreen Chaudhry, Alaya said to the remaining group that one of them would kill her and she knew who but wouldn't say.
- Alaya and Restac were twin sisters. Restac did not show much concern for Alaya, until she found she had died at the hands of Ambrose Northover. (TV: Cold Blood) Alaya came to the surface and took Elliot Northover, Amy Pond and Mo Northover underground as hostages. The Eleventh Doctor sprayed her with a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher and Rory bundled her into the back of a Meals on Wheels van.
- Alaya ist eine silurianische Kriegerin. Als im Jahr 2020 eine geologische Bohrung die unterirdische Kolonie eines ruhenden silurianischen Stammes bedroht, werden Alaya und weitere Krieger geweckt und an die Oberfläche geschickt, um die Bohrungen zu unterbinden. Dem Elften Doctor und Rory Williams gelingt es, Alaya gefangen zu nehmen. Der Versuch, mit ihr zu verhandeln, scheitert, da sie den "Affen" ausschließlich feindlich gesinnt ist und einen Krieg wünscht, in dessen Verlauf die Silurianer die Erdeoberfläche zurück erobern.
