Cascolus is a genus of crustacean named after David Attenborough. It was related to shrimps, crabs, and lobsters. It's name is derived from castrum or stronghold, and colus or dwelling in. It includes the single species C. ravitis. It was only 9 millimeters in length. Despite it's small size, it was well preserved.
