The Immortal Legion was a Chaos Space Marine warband that possessed fortresses on the twin worlds of Corfex and Xefroc. The warband's fortresses later came under attack by the Astra Militarum and the Angels Vermillion Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes, but both easily withstood every assault made against them. It was only once the Angels Vermillion's Death Company broke through both fortresses' defences that the Immortal Legion were finally defeated by that Space Marine Chapter.
