| - Firmus Sitaal, born on the planet Coruscant, was enlisted into the Galactic Empire around the time 17 BBY, and eventually rose to the rank of Admiral. In the beginning of his Imperial career, he was placed into the 14th Sector Army, and for achieving the rank of admiral he was given the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Oppressor. When Grand Moff Ravik was killed in action, Sitaal was appointed Moff of the Tolonda Sector and assumed command of the 14th Sector Army. Following the Emperor's unexpected death and the Rebel incursion, the newly appointed Moff decided to retreat into unknown space, looking for a planet his father used to tell him stories about. Not knowing whether or not the planet even existed, many outbreaks came from his crew and several parts of his fleet began to rebel. In the chaos, his fleet was reduced to a mere 4 capital ships (the Oppressor, the Vindicator, the Cerberus, and the Constrictor) by the time Sitaal found Ilum. Once the fleet dealt with the pirates orbiting the planet, Sitaal designated Ilum as the capital of his newly-formed Empire. During this time period of seclusion for Sitaal, his empire mostly dealt with wildlife and local freedom fighters, and avoided any type of contact with other Imperial factions. The New Republic, however, unveiled his location around the time 6 ABY. Sitaal's fleet was attacked, leaving his empire crippled and on the run. The surviving ships of the surprise attack hid in an unknown area of space for 4 years, constantly making repairs on their ships to get them back into battle-ready condition. When the newborn Emperor revealed himself in 10 ABY, Sitaal did not hesitate to join Palpatine once he received word of his rebirth. Unfortunately for Sitaal, his duties under the Emperor were short-lived, as he was killed while leading a conquest on New Republic-controlled Dantooine when a fleet of Mon Calamari Cruisers bombarded the Oppressor's command bridge.
