Lena Meyer-Landrut (b. 1991), known simply as Lena, is a German singer, 2010 Eurovision Song Contest winner, and 2011 German Eurovision representative. Along with Ernie, she performed "Bert, oh Bert," a parody of her winning entry "Satellite." The 2011 video also features an appearance of Bert, and the first exclusive cameo appearance of The Martians on the country's co-production. Beginning with season 40 in 2013, Landrut provides the vocals for the updated version of the Sesamstrasse theme song.

She won the 2010 contest with the song Satellite, making her the first German winner in 28 years since Nicole's win in 1982 and the first of the Big Four countries to take the title since the rule was introduced in 2000. The following year, she came back with the song Taken By A Stranger which finished 10th. Lena was the third previous winner to defend the title on home ground, and the first in over 50 years. To date she has released four studio albums, all of which have peaked in the Top 2 of the German charts
