- Oscar Zavarelle is one of the Don Stracci's caporegimes. A sadist and a pervert, Zavarelle has perpetrated atrocious rape crimes against innocent young women and girls. In a revenge scheme against Corleone behind-the-scenes man, The Trojan, Zavarelle beats and rapes his eighteen year old sister to prove he could get to him. The Trojan brings Aldo Trapani in and sanctions a hit against Zavarelle, who is hiding out in the sewers of Hell's Kitche. Oscar Zavarelle was murdered by Corleone associate Aldo Trapani.

Despite these vices, he was known as a competent executioner who could also charm his way past racket bosses and merchants. He was known to have a fierce hatred of the Corleone's hitman, Angelo Granelli, also known as The Trojan. Despite numerous attempts to bring down his rival, Zavarelle failed, and instead found revenge by viciously assaulting Granelli's sister. This act cost him his life, as Zavarelle was executed by Aldo Trapani after he was ratted out by one of his own, underpaid bodyguards.
