abstract	Sidouress was the spider daemon of Emperor Palpatine, or Darth Sidious. Being his very essence, she was the only living thing Palpatine had any real love for. Like him, she was very cunning, inhumanly patient, and took advantage of every possible opportunity at hand. Sidouress was always secretly assisting her human master with his clandestine campaign to destroy the Republic and Jedi Order, and reinstate the Sith Empire. She watched quiet conversations in the corners of the Senate Rotunda, alerting Palpatine of any sedition against him while he was senator and supreme chancellor, and she used her own spider venom and connection to the dark side to help him frighten or execute dissidents, or to feed off the fears of people the Emperor wanted to convert. Every time Palpatine was killed, up to his permanent vanquishment, she joined him in the depths of the darkness.
