| - Blood Rune Is a stackable item. It can be obtained by spawning it, or killing monsters. With this rune you can use spells that uses Blood runes.
- Blood runes are used in the Magic skill for many spells in Ancient Magicks, Lunar Spells and some in the Standard spellbook.
- The practitioner must draw a rune in blood on an inanimate metal object (usually armour) which will bind with the iron in the blood. If the person whose soul is to be bound is through the Gate, the alchemist performing the transmutation must give a part of their body as a toll in order to pass through, retrieve the soul and bind it to the host object.
- Blood runes can be made with the Runecrafting skill at 77 Runecrafting with dark essence fragments, and gain 23.8 experience per dark essence fragment. It is possible to reach approximately 38,000 experience per hour. Note: Using full Graceful outfit and having 80+ Agility should be enough to have enough run energy to last the whole trip, depending on how often the player has to switch between the essence mines.
- Blood runes are dropped by a large range of monsters, such as Fire giants, Aviansies, and Shadow warriors. They may be stolen from the chest in the Chaos Druid Tower, purchased from magic store owners, such as the Mage of Zamorak, or received as a fairly common loot from the Barrows chest. There is also a respawn point near the Demonic Ruins in the Wilderness. Blood runes are used to recharge the Blood amulet of fury, Brawler's blood necklace, Farsight blood necklace, and Arcane blood necklace. The value of 1 Blood rune in Mobilising Armies is 111 Investment Credits.

Man kan stjele dem med bruk av Thieving i en kiste i Chaos druid tower nord for Ardougne eller kjøpe dem i Magic guild.Det er også ganske lett å få det i loot fra barrows chest.
