| - The Door of the Sith was a portal to the realm of Chaos, a harbor for long dead Sith spirits. A natural tear into another dimension had been discovered on an unknown planet to the rest of the galaxy sometime after the Great Hyperspace War. The portal sat deep in the planet's crust, near to molten regions. A door was built around the anomaly, which had sat in a large crevasse in the bedrock, containing it as well as preventing it from shifting elsewhere. In times where the current Sith needed assistance, they would call upon the dead for strength by opening the door and letting numerous Force entities through. This almost occurred during the Great Sith War when forces were limited. Due to its enormous potential, it was protected by a Sith that had been entrusted with his life, Darth Realgar. Realgar was chosen due to his ability to become a Force manifestation and implant himself into the door. When the door had been encountered, he would come out of his dormancy and if it was not Sith, attack the visitor. In order to be reached, one would have to traverse through a series of mazes designed to be so numbing, the visiting being would go insane before finishing. However, if a being was strong enough to reach the door, they would supposedly have no more strength to defeat Realgar and it would be an easy takedown for the Sith. That was not the case in 1,300 BBY, when a Jedi Knight finished the maze and reached the door. Just before his encounter with Realgar, the Knight had used a Force Restoration and Mind Strengthen, allowing him to outsmart the Sith and kill him. The Knight used the Light Side of the Force to destroy the door and the link to the Netherworld.
