He was a fresh candidate for the Mandalorian Protectors during the height of the Clone Wars, and participated in a few scattered battles before the betrayal they suffered at the hands of the Geonosians on Zaadja. When the Second Battle of Kamino hit, Bevin left the Protectors and joined up with the reformed Death Watch for a short time. Around 8 BBY, a confident Bevin left the Death Watch and established his own Mandalorian faction.

abstract	Bevin Orar was born and raised a Mandalorian on Concord Dawn. He was a fresh candidate for the Mandalorian Protectors during the height of the Clone Wars, and participated in a few scattered battles before the betrayal they suffered at the hands of the Geonosians on Zaadja. When the Second Battle of Kamino hit, Bevin left the Protectors and joined up with the reformed Death Watch for a short time. Around 8 BBY, a confident Bevin left the Death Watch and established his own Mandalorian faction. For some time, he was wanted by the Death Watch, until their final collapse c. 1 ABY. During this time, Bevin became well known for his mercenary work, particularly his bounty hunting occupation. This was thanks in part due to his armor, which was very similar to Boba Fett's. However, unlike Jodo Kast, Bevin made absolutely certain that his employers knew that he and Fett were two completely different people. Most of his work during the Civil War was aimed at aiding the Galactic Empire. However, he and his Blood Sentinels were open to other options, as well, and would not hesitate to take more seedy missions. This earned him quite the reputation. When the Empire crumbled after the Battle of Endor, the Blood Sentinels' services were open to the highest bidder. It wasn't until much later that Bevin was approached with an offer from Keldon Tyfus to work for the Shadow Imperium. Promising much action and a handsome paycheck, Bevin accepted, and the Blood Sentinels became an elite unit within the confines of the Imperium. They worked for the Imperium's behalf as major players in the Hapes Insurrection, and during that time Bevin and his comrades shifted their allegiances to the new Crimson Empire. After the unsuccessful campaign, Bevin and the Blood Sentinels were charged to return to Testria to wait further instruction. It wasn't long until the Battle of Ossus occurred and, after Darth Trayus was defeated on Morazis, the Blood Sentinels left the Crimson Empire just as Darth Invictus began his war against Darth Malice for supremacy over the now-broken empire. Bevin opted to return to his homeworld of Concord Dawn, whereupon he hung up his armor and weapons in favor of farming, realizing that any activities that would bring him attention might get noticed by his last employers. It wouldn't be long, however, until he would be forced to get involved in the rising tensions among the Mandalorians, and he would be forced to choose a side or leave Mandalorian space.
