In this commercial, a group of children go skating on a frozen pond, when Ronald McDonald suddenly appears. He skates over to the children, as they join hands and skate off. One boy who is not proficient at skating attempts to catch up with the others, but falls down. After a good session on the ice, Ronald breaks away from the group and goes out of his way to make the lone boy feel special, before returning him to the rest of the group, and skating off into the sunset.

The song expresses simple good wishes for the holiday season. In episode 517 of The Muppet Show, "Happy Holidays" is included in a patriotic/Christmas medley. In A Muppet Family Christmas, Rowlf the Dog leads the Muppet Show and Sesame Street casts in a chorus of "Happy Holidays" to start their final carol medley; the song is also repeated later on in the medley.
- Happy Holidays is a greeting sent out by the enemies in the "Genocide on Christmas". They don't want you to say "Merry Christmas", because they don't want you to offend somebody who is a Jesus hater (or not Christian). Sadly enough, this battle is being won due to the large number of Jesus haters in America. This can, of course, be attributed to the terrorists and bears and gays that plague our country.
