Charles "Charlie" Henry Simmons (15 February 1893 - 1962) was a railway fireman and Labour Party politician active in the Finsbury area. Born in Islington, he was the son of a tramway motorman or driver for London County Council Tramways, also named Charles Henry Simmons and his wife Rosa. An engine driver between King's Cross and Edinburgh until his retirement in 1958. A member of Finsbury Borough Council from 1928, he served as Mayor of Finsbury on three occasions. In 1961 he was granted the freedom of the borough.
