abstract	After you find Batholomew and he untransforms himself from the statue, you briefly explain to him the situation with Ivlet and the Magic Hat, as well as the whirlwinds terrorizing the area. He then gives you the Anti-Tornado Ring, saying how his paws are unsteady from being a rock for so long. He asks you to stop the whirlwinds, and tells you that the owner of the Ring must throw a stone into the whirlwind to stop it. He later helps Theophilus make the Magic Shield, and he is seen in the Dimensional Rift when you fight Ivlet. Theophilus holds the Magic Shield in his mouth, while Bartholomew stands off to the side, growling at Ivlet. After the cutscene, Bartholomew and Theophilus disappear, most likely spectating the battle from a safe spot. After the Final Battle, Bartholomew escapes with you and Theophilus. Afterwards, outside Theophilus' Mansion in Sky Heights he is seen with you and Theophilus, watching as Theophilus thanks you on behalf of the island and gives you the Magic Hat to take home. He and Theophilus watch as you run home. Bartholemew is a character from the show The Princess and the Pea.
