Joseph Henry Haygarth (1892-9 January 1969) was an army officer and Conservative Party politician. Following a career in the army where he rose to the rank of colonel, Haygarth entered politics as chairman of the Hendon North Conservative and Unionist Association. In 1955 he became an alderman on Middlesex County Council and served as Chairman of the County Council in 1961-62. He was High Sheriff of Middlesex in 1963. He was awarded the CBE in 1956 and knighted in 1959.
