  • Practically every game contains a regeneration over time skill that puts you into a non-combative state while you recover your health points and mana points. In that sense, the world of kung fu is no different, except for the name it is referred to. Za-Zen can be accessed by the player by simply pressing the Z key in the game. Upon pressing this button you will immediately kneel down on the ground and try to become one with your body to regain your full potential. | Added by Makusu:

  • Practically every game contains a regeneration over time skill that puts you into a non-combative state while you recover your health points and mana points. In that sense, the world of kung fu is no different, except for the name it is referred to. Za-Zen can be accessed by the player by simply pressing the Z key in the game. Upon pressing this button you will immediately kneel down on the ground and try to become one with your body to regain your full potential. What you need to know about Za-Zen: You cannot access this state while you are considered to be in Battle State. You will slowly regenerate a portion of your lost hp + mp until full or Za-Zen is cancelled. Every class will regenerate different amounts. As you level the amount you can regen at a time will slowly increase. Now there's also an interresting thing that should be noted here. The more you have for your max total hp/mp the higher you will regenerate during a set time. This means that if you are wearing items that boost your total hp/mp you may recieve an extra few points of that type regenned every regeneration check for the Za-Zen skill. The Za-Zen skill is basically a free way of regenerating. But a lot of people, at higher levels especially, will eventually stop using it feeling that the cost of buying food and medicine, and lost backpack spaces is worth not having to sit through the waiting time. Especially since medicine can be consumed while combat is underway, while Za-Zen can only be started if no one in your party is fighting a monster at the moment you pressed the Z hotkey. | Added by Makusu: Do not use Za-Zen while you are surrounded by enemies, regardless of those are player or mob. If you Za-Zen and someone will hit you, it's very high (about 95%) probability that you'll get confused debuff... (-50% health points, -50% mana points, -50% attack, -50% defense). Usually that means fast death. Use Za-Zen in safe areas or spots where noone is there.
