Chris Latshaw is a character in the novel Final Destination: Dead Reckoning. He is a security who works on the same campus Eric Prescott and Ben go to school at. Already late for a nightly meeting, Chris called the elevator while getting a cup of coffee and impatiently waited in the corridor for the elevator to come. However, due to Eric fiddling with the control box in the elevator and screwing with a few wires, the elevator was moving slower than usual. Chris, even though knowing subconsciously it wouldn't do any good, pressed the call button for the elevator a few more times, but the elevator wound up skipping past his floor.
