The division of the Scarlet Moon Empire's military designated for naval warfare. The Imperial Navy, based at the Floating Fortress of Shasarazade, was used to maintain control over the Lake Toran area, commonly associated with pirates and other bandits. Although the abilities of Navy Admiral, Sonya Shulen and her predecessor and mother Kilawher Shulen, are never cast into doubt, the Imperial Navy is not on record as having played a major part in any military action in Imperial history, although during the Toran Liberation War, the navy formed an important defensive wall protecting Arlus from the Toran Liberation Army. However such use was only possible due to the unique insular incursion caused by the civil war and so was unlikely to have been the main focus of the navy.
