This match was quite similar to Sephiroth/Ramirez in that there was barely a point in actually holding the match. Ganon, like Sephiroth, was a pre-contest lock for the finals, and the only reason Giygas is even in this thing is because the very loyal Earthbound fanbase needed something to nominate. Unfortunately, it was somewhat obvious that Giygas would be a contender for weakest character of the contest before the contest ever began, and he went and proved it in this match. The Earthbound faithful prevented Giygas from being a complete joke (see: Tanner), but they were unable to give Giygas a respectable showing in the match. Ganon squashed Giygas like an ant from start to finish and never looked back, and that's about all there is to say about the match. Only Pyramid Head has a chance o
