The Carrion Callers are one of the ten major flights of harpies that lived in the Byeshk Mountains in Droaam. When the Daughters of Sora Kell announced the founding of the new nation of Droaam, the Haunting Song flight stood against the Daughters. Two other flights that supported the Daughters, the Carrion Callers and the Stormsingers, combined forces to try to destroy the Haunting Song. The survivors of the battle fled to the Shining Valley in the foot of the Graywall Mountains in Breland. There, the flight discovered a manifest zone to Irian. The manifest zone helped replenish their energy and heal their wounds. The flight remains in the Shining Valley, waiting to take vengeance against the Daughters of Sora Kell and the other harpy flights.
