  • Captain Charg was a Klingon pirate and commander of the freighter Blood Money in the 24th century. He would lure in victims with a false distress call that claimed he was under attack by pirates. Once his would-be rescuers had engaged the pirate ship "attacking" the Blood Money, he would turn on them. In 2379, Squadron Commander Jureth of the Klingon Defense Force dispatched his brother, a newly-minted starship commander, to patrol for pirates in a region of Klingon space away from primary shipping lanes. Charg attempted his ambush, but the Blood Money and its pirate escort proved to be no match for the new commander, and Charg was killed. (TNG video game: Starfleet Command III)
