Hurricane Nadi was the 12th named storm and 7th hurricane of the relatively active 2007 Pacific hurricane season. A tropical disturbance formed on August 12 and moved northwards, it then turned to the northwest on August 14 and was upgraded to tropical storm Nadi. It rapidly strengthened into a hurricane six hours later. On August 16, it made landfall with 75 mph winds on the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, and shortly after weakened to a tropical storm. It made landfall on Mexico on August 17 with 60 mph winds. It quickly dissipated into a remnant low.
