The Heart is Peach's and Daisy's special item in Mario Kart: Double Dash‼ for the GameCube. When they use this will make two hearts circle around their car. When they get hit by an item, with a few exceptions they will not get hurt, but they will collect the item that they hit and they can use it. When they hit a Chain Chomp, any stage hazards, ex Goombas, Lightning, Blue Shell, the Bob-omb explosion, they will get hit, they won't pick the item up. However if they hit the actual Bob-omb, not the explosion, they will pick it up. When hit by lightning, or fall of a ledge, they will lose the hearts. King Boo and Petey Piranha can also get this special item, along with all specials. This item is pretty helpful, since you can only get it in 6th place and under.
