The Instrument suit is a protective garment that appears in Might and Magic: The Dreamwright and Might and Magic: The Shadowsmith. It covered the wearer from neck to toe, and could also extend gloves and a face-covering hood for full protection. It was slick-looking, with no visible seams or breaks. It was developed by the Arc, and Jassad Attqua wore one when he arrived at the planet. When Eil do Mer first saw the instrument suit, she stared at it with "undisuised fascination", indicating that Bright Star hadn't developed something similar.

It covered the wearer from neck to toe, and could also extend gloves and a face-covering hood for full protection. It was slick-looking, with no visible seams or breaks. It was developed by the Arc, and Jassad Attqua wore one when he arrived at the planet. The suit was solar-powered, and the batteries could easily be drained if the wearer remained out of the sunlight for too long. As long as it was charged, it gave its wearer increased strength, the ability to fly, made them almost impervious to harm, and even shielded them from the cold and rain. While wearing the suit, the person no longer had to eat, drink, use the bathroom, or sleep. Users could also send out beams of blinding white light from their hands to strike their foes. The suit was attuned to the user's somatic signature, and couldn't be used by anyone else unless realigned. The energy intake of the suit was calibrated to the specific solar radiation of that planet, and would have to be recalibrated to recharge if the wearer went to another planet. The suit would change color to indicate the status of its wearer. When Hitch rescued Jassad from drowning, the suit had gone blue. While Jassad was in a sort of artificial coma, the suit turned green overnight, cycling through several colors from day to day, before finally turning white. When Jassad's consciousness was awakened, it turned bright gold, remaining that color as long as there were energy reserves remaining. When Eil do Mer first saw the instrument suit, she stared at it with "undisuised fascination", indicating that Bright Star hadn't developed something similar.
