In spite of the proximity of the two lands, the forest is rarely used as a travel path, leading many to wonder what kind of dangers lie within. However, humans have been known to dwell in the forest, such as Ayda and her father, who were protectors of the forest and the animals of the region. The people of the Forest Village feared the wild griffin from the forest, and in spite of the fact that her parents were killed by these creatures, Ayda fought to defend them from the villagers. Additionally, Mukumuku and his friends call this forest their home and returned there along with Ayda and Feather after the war.
