  • The Ånos are an ethnic group who live in the Far North. They are a mix of Giant and Human, but claim to be more Human than Giant. They are massive, standing at over six and a half feet tall on average, with brown, black, or blonde hair, and their eye colors are as varied as the humans in other parts of the world. The Ånos live in a strict society of meritocratic feudalism. In other words, they promote people to Lordship based on merit, and all Lords pay taxes to the rank above, who pay to the King, ultimately. The Ånos believe that merit can be passed down through the generations, and so many noble families stay in power for decades or centuries. [WIP]
