General Anatol Alexis Gogol (Russian: Анатолий Алексис Гоголь) is the head of the KGB in the James Bond films The Spy Who Loved Me (1977), Moonraker (1979), For Your Eyes Only (1981), Octopussy (1983), and A View to a Kill (1985). In his final appearance in The Living Daylights (1987), he has been transferred to the Soviet Foreign Ministry. General Gogol is portrayed by the late actor Walter Gotell.
