The Zero-class frigate was a frigate used by the GFSS, N'Akkiarlian Star Empire, Human Empire Party and the Tatooinian Irregular Fleet. It was a militarized version of the Zero-class transport ship which was used by civilian companies and spacers and Merchant Navies all over the galaxy. The Zero-class Transport Ship was much loved by smugglers or transport companies for its reliability, they rarely broke down so Galactic Shipyards decided to make military version for the Navy.

It was a militarized version of the Zero-class transport ship which was used by civilian companies and spacers and Merchant Navies all over the galaxy. The Zero-class Transport Ship was much loved by smugglers or transport companies for its reliability, they rarely broke down so Galactic Shipyards decided to make military version for the Navy. Like in the days of the Old Republic, military versions were given special paint schemes to identify them as military models. The Zero-class was so reliable they were still in service in 1,000 ABY during the Great N'Akkiarlian War by the Galactic Federation of Sentient Species Navy despite entering service in the year 663 ABY with the Galactic Federation of Sentients Navy. They were loved by the N'Akkiarlians who captured some of them, who used them as escorts and for making up fleets led by a capital ship, they were especially prized for the speed, maneuverability and for excelling in the anti-starfighter/convoy raiding role, both sides used them for raiding enemy convoy fleets as well as providing extra defence against starfighters and light warships for the capital ships. Our Human brothers really know how to make beautiful ships! They make amazing warships, not only battleships and carriers but smaller frigates, destroyers and patrol craft as well! The Zero-class Frigate is very good at escorting ships against starfighters and other light ships and at making up fleets led by a capital ship.
