"Quote Unquote" is a song from Mr. Bungle's self-titled debut album. A video for the song was released but MTV refused to play it due to images of clowns hanging themselves and its dark atmosphere which the music channel felt would disturb and upset some viewers. The song was originally titled Travolta, but the title had to be changed due to legal reasons. The song features many genre shifts, which was typical of Mr. Bungle, and features an intro which appears to be a sample of one of the band members snoring, suddenly the sound of what seems to be smashing glass interrupts this and the main song begins. The song ends with a sample of the band jumping trains, a sample which was carried on in the album's later tracks Egg and The Girls of Porn. This sample switches between random video game
