Alfred Thomas Layton (died 3 August 1899) was a stationer and politician. In 1839 he became a partner in the stationery firm Waterlow & Sons. In 1877 the company was split, with Layton becoming a partner in Waterlow Brothers & Layton, specialising in the production of legal stationery. He was a member of the Worshipful Company of Stationers, a freeman of the City of London and became a member of the Common Council of the City of London. As a Commoner on the Bridge House Estates Committee in 1894 his name appears on Tower Bridge.
