The Protector Adrian class was a class of heavy cruisers built and used by the Grayson Space Navy. It was identical to the Manticoran Edward Saganami class in most respects, as the two were the result of the same Alliance development project. Originally on the Navy books as the Jason Alvarez II class, it was formally renamed once the lead unit, GNS Protector Adrian, was commissioned. These ships represented the peak of cooperation between RMN and GSN shipbuilders, and were the largest heavy cruiser production run in Grayson history up to that point.

abstract
  • The Protector Adrian class was a class of heavy cruisers built and used by the Grayson Space Navy. They had improved inertial compensators and impeller nodes, improving acceleration by nearly 90 G. This change shifted the balance of Grayson heavy cruiser deployments, putting the newer ships on the front line. A total of 46 units were built until the early 1920s PD. (Companion)
