Invoke is an attribute sometimes found on weapons. Their effect has a chance to trigger each successful hit, depending on the number of #s, and is the same as the spell or special action of the same name. Triggering an invoke does not consume MP or stamina. Invokes are affected by the control magic skill. The power of the invoked ability/magic scales with the involved weapon skill. (ex: throwing for grenade damage)

• The #invoke extended command allows you to activate certain objects. The only objects that can be activated this way are crystal balls and most quest artifacts. Artifacts tire after you invoke them, and you cannot do so again for rnz(100) turns (averages 100; can be up to 2000, but 95% of the time it is less than 400). If you invoke again too soon, "You feel that the is ignoring you" and 3d10 turns are tacked on to the wait time.
• The word invoke is not actually used in the game. Instead the game says play, but that words seems too ambiguous so we will use invoke to describe the specific action of playing a card from your hand to the Game Mat.
• Invoke (イリュージョン Illusion, Illusion in the Japanese version) is white magic from Fire Emblem Gaiden learnt by Sisters and Saints that summons several allied generic units not controlled by the player. The summoned soldiers' strength depends on the level of the caster. This spell costs 12 HP to cast, and the summoned units will vanish if the caster dies after summoning them. Silque's version summons allied Dread Fighters, Tatiana's version summons allied Pegasus Knights, and Genny's version summons allied Soldiers.
