She first came to prominence in Spur during the LoC invasion, when she was among the most vocal opponents of the invaders and particularly of Kagee, High Priestess of Evoloch. Later, she aided the Setite San Changeman Shadowlurk in his campaign of assassination against the Dragons of Spur. Originally a warrior, she became a priestess after the Great Plague, and was one of several contenders for the vacant Inquisitorship.

Her role in the failed assassination attempt against Lord Merlin led to her exile from Spur, upon which she moved to the city of Emjedah. She became the de facto head of that city's Taathian temple but was at odds with the Spurian temple led by Kyntavis Onyx. After his disappearance and a period of doubt and turbulence amongst the temple's leadership, she emerged as the only cleric still willing to assume the Inquisitorship. An outspoken and controversial figure, she is known for fanaticism and for rhetorical talent rather than for military prowess. Her reign as Inquisitress has been marked by a general increase in Taathian numbers and influence, but has also seen the destruction of Emjedah and the ruin of its Taathian temple by the armies of the Mu'at Graedar'al.
