The Lava Guardian was the protector of Taklit's part of the Infernal Machine. As it was entirely made of lava, no person could harm it with conventional methods. The lava monster swam around in a lava-filled chamber of the Palawan Volcano Temple where it blended easily. When it rose out, it took the shape of a legless torso with clawed hands. It attacked anyone with either a physical blow or by shooting out fireballs. → This article is a stub. You can help us by adding to it. Check out the talk page for hints on what needs to be done.

  • The Lava Guardian was the protector of Taklit's part of the Infernal Machine. The lava monster was visited by Indiana Jones in 1947 who stole Taklit's part and used its power of invisibility to sneak past the monster. The monster met its end when Jones channeled the waters from a nearby reservoir into the lava lake which cooled and hardened the lava into rock, leaving the monster solidified into a giant stony statue. → This article is a stub.
